[Goanet-News] Rains, this evening... in Goa

It rained in Goa on Thursday evening, accompanied with quite some thunder.
When I was at Mapusa, a bolt struck somewhere close, or so it seemed from
the sound.

Many who had left for work on a sunny morning got caught in the sudden
downpour, with continued for a good two hours or so.

The weatherman says (this is via the Net, not the unreliable local met
service) that there could be some rain and some thunderstorms too over the
next week. Let's see....  It's also a long-weekend this week, so Goa can
expect the usual tourist frenzy it sees at times like these, and some
crowded roads.
