Topics may include (but are not limited to) the following:

- Theories and practices of extended techniques in vocal and instrumental music

- Deciphering contemporary music notation

- The analysis of un-notated music and/or musical works that use unconventional notation systems.

- Performing and interpreting twenty-first century operas.

- The relationships between notation and performance

- The performer as interpreter
We welcome submissions in conventional formats as well as in unconventional and innovative ones.
