[SMT-PAIG] Reminder: Proposed bylaws updates and post-conference survey (two action items)

Dear PAIG Members,

Following up on our email from November 27, we wanted to send a reminder
that we have been working on updating the IG’s bylaws. The proposed changes
accomplish three things: 1) expanding and specifying the mission of PAIG;
2) specifying the process and revising the timeline for Co-Chair
nominations, given our recently established annual Spring meeting; 3)
clarifying language around leadership eligibility; and 4) updating the
process through which amendments can be proposed and voted on.

A document with the proposed updates and a document of the bylaws ratified
in 2016 are attached to this email. We would appreciate it if you could
take a few minutes to review the proposed changes. Once you have done
so, please fill out this Google Form <https://forms.gle/eHtYiZ4CTP1Ytu1m6> to
anonymously submit any questions, comments, or concerns you have about the
proposed updates. The comment form will be open *until the end of this
weekend, December 22*, after which point we will review your feedback and
respond accordingly. After addressing questions or concerns, we will put
the updated bylaws up for a vote through Google Forms.

We are also interested in learning how the IG can better serve the
interests and needs of its members. As such, we have put together a brief
Google Form <https://forms.gle/f24vK3j9eL7Zm4P96> that includes several
questions about your experience of the sessions PAIG has put together over
the past few years. Even if you have not attended all (or any!) of these
sessions, we invite you to provide your feedback. This form is anonymized
and will remain open *until the end of this weekend, December 22*. Thank
you for your time and effort in helping further the mission of the PAIG!
