Dear all,

We are writing to announce the launch of the new SMT-PAIG website, now
hosted through Knowledge Commons.

All interest groups have recently been recommended to move all associated
websites/forums to Knowledge Commons. This will allow interest groups to
maintain their online presence on a single platform that will hopefully
allow for easier access and internal moderation.

There are multiple components to our new site, which we will discuss
together in our upcoming virtual mid-year meeting. We’ll take this as an
opportunity to remind everyone that we are accepting proposals for
13-minute lightning talks through *Monday, June 1, 2026 *(submit proposals
through this Google Forms link <https://forms.gle/owfj3jD4yPgQxxwc7>).

In the meantime, we recommend initial exploration of KC site! We have been
advised to make the group invite-only, which will require that everyone
creates a Knowledge Commons account before they can gain access. This can
be done here:

https://profile.hcommons.org/registration/start/

Once you have done so, please click on the following link, or search for
“SMT Performance and Analysis Interest Group,” and select “Request
Membership.”

Once admitted, you will find a handful of forum posts designed to introduce
you to the site, as well as set off some conversations. We recommend
beginning with the “Welcome” forum post as your first stop. We also invite
the exploration of the new associated blog (many thanks to all previous
PAIG webmasters!), which can be found here:

https://smtpaig.hcommons.org

Please let us know if something seems to be amiss, or if we can help in any
way. We are also new to the platform, but we hope that it serves as a
productive space for the sharing of materials and conversation going
forward!

All best,

Christa Cole and John Heilig, PAIG Co-Chairs
