I will need to receive their bio and statement by the deadline so we can proceed with an election in early December.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I hope many of you will consider running for the position or nominating someone to do so! Thank you for your consideration and for your service to our group.</div><div class=""><b class=""><br class=""></b></div><div class=""><b class="">(2) BY-LAWS</b></div><div class=""><b class=""><br class=""></b></div><div class="">Attached is the final text of the PAIG By-Laws we ratified at our meeting in Vancouver. At the meeting, we noted that the process was somewhat rushed, and there are a number of items that warrant revisiting and a more careful discussion. (These include wording defining membership/voting membership, and wording requiring the use of blind review to select programs for our meetings.) </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I propose that, after our election, the new co-chair and I convene a small working group to develop some proposed amendments that clean up these and any other issues. We can discuss those electronically well in advance of our 2017 meeting, so that they will be prepared for quick adoption.
