Dmitri and fellow SMT-talkers:

Your sequence A (major triads, root motion by rising minor thirds) can be
found in one of Wolf's Moerike songs, "Heimweh": it goes from F to Ab
(colored by added dissonance in mm. 9-11) to Cb (m. 14, and more plainly at
m. 17) and to D much later--the last key before returning to F at the
conclusion.
