There's also the first half of the "Et incarnatus est" section of the Credo
from Beethoven's "Missa Solemnis", in D dorian.

Also, several of Bach's chorales are based on modal melodies, some of them
more clearly than others - Lori Burns has a book written on this topic.
Chorale #45, "Diess sind die heil'gen zehn Gebot" is an example of a
Mixolydian chorale -- the chromaticism obscures this at times, though.
