[Smt-talk] Movable-Do subculture in the Romance tradition?

Dear Colleagues,
the conversion of the medieval solmisation syllables into note names in the Romance tradition corresponds to a preference for fixed-do solfège practice.
Movable-Do proponents would perhaps need to introduce alternative syllables in order to avoid confusion with the note names. Is there an established Movable-Do subculture somewhere within the Romance tradition?
Sincerely
Thomas Noll
