Francis Poulenc’s very beautiful setting of Shakespeare’s Tell Me Where Is Fancy Bred (Fancy, FP 174, available at http://imslp.org/wiki/Fancy,_FP_174_(Poulenc,_Francis)) has some strange accentuations. I love them because they seem to enhance the floating feel of the melody, but towards the end it’s hard to ignore
