Comments to Stephen Jablonsky:

First, one addition:

Janáček: Pohádka / A Tale for cello and piano.

Since Janáček had a clear predilection for "distant" keys, I think  
Janáček specialists might add more. This cello piece just happened  
to lie on top of our piano. (My wife plays the cello.)

I was so surprised to see this here. You really mean Heino Kaski's  
prelude for the piano? In fact, when I saw just the title of  
Stephen's mail, I thought that I might mention this piece as a kind  
of joke. But to my utter astonishment, it was already in Stephen's  
list. I had no idea this piece might be known outside Finland. To be  
honest, I don't think it is much worth knowing either.
