[Smt-talk] applied (or secondary) chords in Nashville numbers

Very obscure question, and perhaps this is the wrong list for the question:

Does anyone have a reliable method for notating applied (or secondary) chords in Nashville numbers?  I realize that instead of "V/V", I could just write "2", but that method breaks down with more complicated applied/secondary chords.
