[Smt-talk] Progression at all?

After I posted I feared I may have missed someone else making the same point earlier, but what’s the harm in bringing it up again, eh?

Would transformations tell us anything about the successions?

Starting at VI: L - LR - LR (with David Kopp’s extended technique: M - D^-1 - D^-1)
Starting at I: LR - RLR - L (same: D^-1 - Dm - M).

Not sure how much it says, but it points out how much the motion is reliant on reversal and replication of motion, if you read transformation theory that way, at least.
