<div dir="ltr">I find it interesting that our discussion coincides with the recent Donald Sterling scandal, where outmoded and offensive labels have drawn the kind of response that should be embraced here. Surely, if the NBA can have a zero-tolerance policy on these kinds of labels, then a scholarly society like SMT can, too. For now, however, I suspect that many will follow me in unsubscribing to this list.<div>
