I decided to forward my response to the list to clarify who I am and where I'm coming from. </div><div><br></div><div>I'd like to add that, as I and other women have come of age, I've grown to appreciate sisterhood as well as male friendships. In the end, having received several personal replies, what astounds me is the power of one person's story to resonate, and the depth and breadth of heartache, no matter what gender.
