 many of us, a great teacher to many others, and a giant among the community of Schenkerian scholars. He will be greatly missed, and plans are already underway to honor Edward through a volume of essays and a special issue of the Journal of Schenkerian Studies.

 More information will be forthcoming. </span></div>
