Dear all,

Thank you for all for the many suggestions about this project! At this point, I’ll follow up privately with Andy and Daphne about next steps, and we’ll circle back to the whole group shortly.

Meanwhile, I’ll be in touch very soon about a call for nominations for our co-chair position and some other follow-up related to the by-laws. I hope many of you will give some thought to running for the co-chair position!

Best,

Ed

Then I believe one has edit capabilities on the entire spreadsheet (I don’t think there’s a way to limit it to your row in the sheet.) I also think that to edit you have to have G-drive.

One advantage: it lets users enter, edit, or delete their own information, so it wouldn’t require a volunteer curator to collect, edit, and post information. We could include fields for URLs, as Alan and Jonathan have suggested. One drawback: I don’t think it can easily accommodate profile pictures, but those who wish could use the URL fields to point to places that have profile pictures (such as personal websites or Academia.edu <https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__Academia.edu&d=CwMFAw&c=WO-RGvefibhHBZq3fL85hQ&r=WYdIj-LblAza1qTqO-a71nrFd8Zoehq9ZDqjJSLz0bM&m=wexV9sQaOXsICvKRHcNoRwoUPWYUCcFMr1VWHx-aD3g&s=w79hkJ9j8ZUTpeyduM9CONwmx_niauGO6TcV0eMaeGo&e=>).
