Dear Sandeep,

Osvaldo Golijov is certainly a significant name missing from your list. His
output is considerable and well recorded by the likes of the Kronos Quartet
(whose back catalogue with give you many other cross cultural
possibilities). Here in the UK I would also point to Kevin Volans (and for
more than White Man Sleeps).

For your book list I¹d certainly include David Toop¹s Ocean of Sound
(Published by Serpent¹s Tail) and the collected writings of (and about)
Dutch composer Ton de Leeuw edited by Jurrien Sligter (Published by Harwood
Academic Publishers 1995).
