[Smt-talk] Music Plagiarism Cases

I don't think anyone has yet mentioned the lawsuit over "The Hokey Pokey," which was recently in the news again upon the death of Robert Degen (age 104).  This one goes back to 1956; the case was settled out of court, evidently in such a way as to allow two sets of composers/lyricists to share ownership of the copyright.  Details are available in recent New York Times stories, for anyone who's interested.
