Dear network of exceedingly knowledgeable people,
I'm trolling for examples of Zarlino's second mode (or kind or type) of
double counterpoint (pp. 159, 165-168 in the Marco/Palisca translation) --
in which the two parts are inverted both in register and in of themselves --
apart from those by the usual suspect J.S. Bach (e.g. BWV 1087/10, Musical
Offering, etc.) and preferably from a work from standard lit circa
1750-1900.
Many thanks in advance,
Scott
