[Smt-talk] Sibelius shutdown

In case you have not heard the news, Sibelius software may be on its way out: http://www.artsjournal.com/slippeddisc/2012/08/at-sibelius-software-the-last-staff-turn-out-the-lights.html. Avid has halted development, fired the programmers, and they refuse to sell the code back to the original developers. There are rumors of gradual shut down, with the software still sold, but not developed, as long as there is money to be made, as well as rumors that development will be moved elsewhere. No official future plans seem to have been announced. Does anyone know more about this?
