[Smt-talk] Schenkerian analysis - visual impaired student

I fully understand the problem, and I can't think of a solution, but it seems to be at least paradoxical that a methodology that it directed towards developing structural hearing is so visually dependent that it can't be offered to blind students. 
Please don't take it as an attack to Schenkerianism, I respect this system although being far from expert on it.
