[Smt-talk] Combining recent threads

[Stephen Jablonsky]

Richard has hit the nail on the head for the teaching of  music theory. I think no one can argue with his last sentence. I have always asserted that, if you ask 10 theorists to analyze and explain a musical masterpiece, you will get 10 different theories.
